Our Philosophy
Gethsemane Lutheran Children’s Ministry is designed to meet the emotional, social, physical, cognitive and spiritual needs of children through a variety of activities and experiences.
Our Purpose
The purpose of our program is to extend the ministries of the church into the community. We provide an environment that emphasizes the basic Christian values of love and trust, justice and peace, cooperation and human dignity.
Caring
Our dedicated staff members are friendly and caring with decades of combined experience.
Teaching
Most of the lead teachers have Child Development Accreditation (CDA) or college degrees. Each member of the staff is certified in CPR and first aid and attends 20 hours of continuing education per year. Highlights of our program:

- Four-Star Rating with Texas Rising Star
- National accreditation, weekly chapel
- Weekly music with instruments and singing
- Participation in Foster Grandparent Program
